Mahama visits injured presidential press corps

President John Mahama late Thursday night was at the 37 Military Hospital to check on the presidential press corps which was iA journalist with the Ghanaian Times Samuel Nuamah died on the spot when the hired bus skidded off the road near the Shai Hills in the Greater Accra region.

Mahama, who was devastated, commiserated with the family of Nuamah – who left behind a wife and a child.

He took turns to visit “everyone on admission”, according to a senior press corps member Richard Mensah of Accra-basedEveryone is responding positively to treatment,” Mensah said.

Four of the journalists are battling for their lives at the Emergency Trauma and Surgical Department. They are Ghana Broadcasting Corporation’s Pascaline Adadevoh and Napoleon Ato Kittoe of GTV, Patrick Bida of the Enquirer and William Gyentu of Peace FM.
