Four
persons, including a 16 year old teenager, died at Assin Kyekyewere in
the Central Region on Tuesday when a taxi ran into jubilant supporters
of Matthew Botwe, an assembly member elect.
The supporters were celebrating their candidate’s victory in the just ended district level elections.
According
to PEACE FM correspondent, Oscar Adewu Dadzie, the incident happened
after the driver of the taxi cab lost control of the steering wheel and
run into the jubilant supporters killing three and injuring several
others.
This reporter also indicated that the injured are on admission at Assin Fosu.
Meanwhile, the Taxi driver who was also reportedly drunk has absconded.
