Amprofi Appiah-Kubi V, Krontihene of Atuntumere in the Kotoku
Traditional Area, has called on the Birim South District Assembly to
come to the aid of Atuntumere.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency
(GNA) he said for several years now, development has eluded the town and
this has reduced the standard of living in the area.

 Nana
Amprofi called on the assembly and Non-Governmental Organizations
(NGOs), to assist the town to improve its environmental concerns, and
that, the community needs a KVIP and refuse containers to reduce
littering.

He also appealed to the district office of the Ghana
Education Directorate to endeavor to send teachers to the only school in
the town to help arrest the falling standard of education in the area.
